Context

Alspec is the market leader in the design and distribution of innovative aluminum systems to the architectural, residential, industrial and home improvement markets. Alspec needed a website for a new product line launch that showcased their new business Aluminum Facade Systems.

Challenge

A new business unit was created for a completely new product range that didn't fit within Alspec's core business. We needed to create a new website and have a supporting marketing campaign to build brand awareness and ultimately sales.

The goal was to create a website that was premium in look and feel but simple and easy to navigate. The business goal was to have 1,000 impressions within the first month and 20 inquiries/leads per week from the website.

Solution

A premium website to showcase the new business and product range. Key features include; automated marketing, animated colour charts, animated custom fabrication icons, and live user analytics and feedback.

Process

The website needed to be launched in four weeks so we wasted no time having a discovery meeting to get us all on the same page. Human Digital then came back with some research findings to ensure our website would stand out among the competition.

A week later we had a design and loose template to work on. The Human Digital team gave us some great recommendations on how best to appeal to our audience. A few weeks later all the content we provided had been uploaded and the website went live.

Results

The website has had over 5k impressions on Google and seen over 1.9k visitors since launching in July 2020.

I am the Special Projects Manager at Alspec. Alspec is the market leader in the design and distribution of innovative aluminium systems to the architectural, residential, industrial and home improvement markets.

For what projects/services did your company hire Human Digital?

Human Digital was recommended by a colleague. There were two other companies we spoke to. The decision to move forward with Human Digital was because they were proposing more than just building a website, they were proposing to give our customers the best experience when visiting our website.

What was the team composition?

I worked mainly with the Director of Human Digital - Ben. He was my contact throughout the process and I was his contact. This made the process run quite quickly and smoothly as the correspondence from both ends were quick and efficient.

Results & Feedback

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

It's only been a couple of months since we launched the website but already we've seen a number of inquires/leads come through the websit and our traffic has increase by 40%. So far we are happy with the results.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Ben and I connected via Goggle Meets which worked extremely well. We were able to work around each others busy schedule and still get the job done within the specified timeline.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were impressed with the amount of time and effort Human Digital went to get a better understanding of our business. They asked the right questions to ensure they were producing the best website to meet our needs as well as the customer's needs.

It was also great that Human Digital explained every step of their process in detail so that we could understand why they were doing what they did and what the intended outcome would be.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I was very happy with the process and the end result. Human Digital have been fantastic to work with.
