The Eastern Bay of Plenty Iwi Alliance is a collaborative partnership between multiple iwi (tribes) in the Eastern Bay of Plenty region of New Zealand. This alliance represents the collective interests, aspirations, and goals of the participating iwi, working together to advance the well-being and development of their respective communities.
Problem
One of the challenges faced by the Eastern Bay of Plenty Iwi Alliance is the need for an effective online presence. Without a dedicated website, they may struggle to effectively communicate their collective vision, goals, srvices and initiatives to their communities, stakeholders, and the wider public.
Process
By featuring content in both English and Māori languages with accurate translation, we prioritized user experience, conducted rigorous testing, and provided comprehensive training and ongoing support. Continuous communication with the board ensured we stayed on track and satisfied all their requirements, ensuring we communcate effectively to the communities.
Deliverables
Develop a bilingual website with a human-centered design approach, prioritizing user experience and accessibility, featuring content in both English and Māori to effectively communicate the alliance's vision and initiatives to their communities and stakeholders.

Results
The final outcome was a website that aligned closely with their expectations and vision. It effectively represented the alliance, engaged their communities, and honored their cultural values.
