Human Digital is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Intern to join our growing team in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand. As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will play a key supporting role across various digital marketing activities. You will work closely with our Performance Marketing, Content, UX, and Data teams to gain hands-on experience and contribute to data-driven strategies that drive measurable results for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign Support: Assist in setting up and executing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including paid search, social media, and display advertising.
  • Content & Creative Input: Support the creation of engaging content (e.g., blog posts, social posts, basic design elements) and help refine messaging for different audiences.
  • Audience Research & Targeting: Contribute to audience and keyword research, competitor analysis, and market trend investigations to inform campaign strategies.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Help track key performance indicators (KPIs), gather data from analytics tools, and compile insights into clear, actionable reports for both internal and client presentations.
  • A/B Testing & Optimisation: Assist in running A/B tests on creatives and landing pages, and contribute ideas to enhance campaign performance.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to keep marketing projects on track, manage timelines, and ensure seamless execution.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about emerging digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to continually improve campaign effectiveness and recommend new approaches.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • A keen interest in digital marketing and a willingness to learn performance-driven strategies.
  • Basic understanding of various digital marketing tools and channels (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media platforms).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an enthusiasm for working with data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
