Changing State Technologies launches new website

Human Digital is pleased to announce the launch of the new website for Changing State Technologies (CST), a New Zealand-based global technology company developing a new approach to how the world pumps, cools and purifies.
The new website, changingstatetechnologies.com, has been designed to communicate a technology that challenges long-established assumptions in fluid engineering, while making its commercial potential accessible to pump manufacturers, industrial customers, technical partners and investors.
CST has developed patented technology that harnesses cavitation. Its first commercial application, the MPR™ Pump Module, is designed for integration into OEM pump systems and offers capabilities that conventional pumping technologies can struggle to provide, including self-priming from significant depths, variable pressure and flow, fewer failure points, and greater flexibility in system design.
For CST, the launch marks an important step in communicating both the technology and the company’s commercial direction.
Martin Riegel CEO, Changing State Technologies said:
“It was a pleasure working with both the Human Digital and SwayTech teams, and I am very happy with what we achieved together. The new website gives us a much clearer platform to communicate our technology, the MPR™ Pump Module and where CST is heading as we move further into commercialisation.”

Turning complex engineering into commercial clarity
One of the central challenges of the project was translating 16 years of engineering, experimentation and intellectual property into a story that could be understood by very different audiences.
The website needed to give engineers enough technical substance to understand what makes the technology different, help pump manufacturers, or Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), see how it could integrate into their products, and give investors a clear view of the commercial opportunity and practical value.
Human Digital worked closely with CST to develop the website strategy, information architecture, content and digital experience around a simple idea: start with the problems created by conventional technology, explain what CST has changed, and then show what becomes possible as a result.
The result is a website structured around CST's broader proposition, “Reshaping how the world pumps, cools and purifies”, while giving the MPR™ Pump Module a clear role as the first commercial application of the underlying technology.
Building beyond the first product
CST is more than a pump company. The same underlying approach to fluid dynamics is being developed for applications in heating, cooling, purification and distillation. CST's longer-term vision is a world in which water can increasingly replace chemicals and conventional refrigerants across a range of industrial applications.
Human Digital CEO and Founder Ben van Rooy explains:
“Websites remain one of the key foundations of a business’s digital presence, but the job they have to do has become more complex. They need to communicate clearly with both humans and computers, serve a diverse range of audiences with different needs, and provide the structure and context that search and AI systems use to understand a business.
The Human Digital team worked closely with CST to design and develop a website that helps the industry understand why the technology matters, where it fits commercially and what they should do next, while also creating a digital structure that search engines, AI platforms and other systems can interpret.
This launch gives CST a strong foundation to build on as it moves further into commercialisation.”
A collaborative effort
The launch reflects a collaborative effort between Changing State Technologies, Human Digital and SwayTech. Complex digital projects work considerably better when strategy, engineering, content, design and technology teams operate as one team.
Human Digital would like to thank Martin Riegel, Roy Warner, Alan Buys and the broader CST team for trusting us to help communicate the technology they have spent many years developing.
We would also like to thank Bob, Caroline and the team at SwayTech for their collaboration throughout the project.
The website represents another important step in CST's transition from invention to commercialisation, supporting conversations with pump OEMs, infrastructure operators, industrial organisations, investors and technical partners around the world.
For Human Digital, it is also a good example of the work we enjoy most: helping technically sophisticated B2B organisations turn complex ideas into clear digital experiences that support growth.
